GLOBAL | VEUVE CLICQUOT PACKAGING

Oldie but goodie packaging innovation.
(and pretty eco friendly and you don’t waste anything 😉

BANGKOK | PERFECT FMCG STOCKING PART 2

Here is another grocery store pictures from my most recent trip to Bkk.
As always, Thailand is the definition (like Japan) of perfect retailing – across every category. (this particular example is of the Unilever Sunsilk brand section…)

Note the attendant there ensuring that everything is perfect 😉

NEW YORK | MUJI, A LITTLE TASTE OF JAPANESE PERFECTION IN NYC

Shopping bag rain coat = a little piece of Japanese perfection in customer service and attention to detail…in NYC. Luckily the Japanese brand MUJI upholds it’s Japanese standards even abroad.

A little wasteful, but still worth it. When you are used to this Japanese style service it’s hard to live without it. (My all time favorite is the little piece of tape to close the bag. That is key!! 😉

ISRAEL | THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MALE & FEMALES

These Goldstar beer ads remind us guys how easy we have it 😉
Thank goodness!!

Good little insight into male and female consumers.

BANGKOK | MEGA BILLBOARDS

Thailand is home to some of the biggest billboards i’ve ever seen. “Full building” ads (like this one for True) are also the norm.
Talk about visibility.

ITALY | NUTELLA CELEBRATES ITALY’S 150th BIRTHDAY

Awesome limited edition Nutella Esperienza Italia 150 glasses celebrating Italian unity (150 years since the creation of the Italian Republic) and showcasing Italian design, arts, landscapes, architecture and history. These were made for the Milan Design Week (Salone del Mobile)

VIVA L’ITALIA!! VIVA LA NUTELLA!!

THAILAND | SUBWAY STATION ICE CREAM KIOSK

This is the cutest ice cream kiosk, which can be found at various stations along Bkk’s BTS.
All ice cream is made exclusively with Japanese milk from Hokkaido. Great, fun, Thai design as always.
….Its amazing how Hokkaido has managed (in Asia) to create an “origin brand” for its milk. Hokkaido evokes such a clean, fresh, sterile feeling; just what you want from pure milk.
Also check out the “Mi Lu Ku”….Japanese/english for Milk. (usually stated as MiRuKu as in Japan there is no “L” sound)
